Upcoming concerts in 2010 include a rare performance of the Bach Three Harpsichord Concerto in C, the jovial Coffee Cantata along with the sublime Two Violin Concerto at the stunning Blessed Sacrament Church. For our Silver Anniversary Concert, April 24, 2010, the ACO performs Beethoven’s 9th at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine—along with 100 singers, soloists and dancers. The concert opens with the magnificent Handel Coronation Anthems and concludes the ACO Silver Anniversary Season with the ‘Ode to Joy’
This season, more than any other, gives listeners the opportunity to hear the music in its original glory, ‘as the masters heard it.’
